Ruohan (Rita) Duan graduated from RISD in 2021 with an MDes degree in interior architecture and obtained her BFA degree of scenography in Accademia delle Belle Arti di Roma in 2018.
Rita’s work focuses on the space design of interior architecture and its related interdisciplinary studies. These works embody a reflection on abstract philosophical and sociological ideas in the concrete expression of space, exploring the impact of narrative space on human culture, society, and aesthetics.
