On the banks of an uninhabited island across the river from the city of Rosario, Argentina, our goal was to realize an architectural intervention could embody the phrase “rustic untidiness”. Learning from the intentional communities found in the barrios of Argentina, new terrain is designed to provide a port for exploration and experimentation on the edge of the wild frontier.
