About

Hello! I'm Rayoung (Ray) Kim, an innovative designer who oscillates between the realms of architecture and technology. With a strong foundation in sustainable design and a passion for digital fabrication, I strive to create environmentally friendly and innovative architecture that push the boundaries of traditional architecture.

🚀 My Journey:

  • Architectural Intern at THE_SYSTEM LAB, Seoul: Developed a winning concept for Hite-Jinro Distillery's new brand identity and collaborated on the renovation of Yeouido Park.
  • Computational Designer at Robotic Fabrication Studio (RFS), Seoul: Designed and fabricated projects using a 6-axis robotic arm, and led workshops on robotic manipulation.
  • Architectural Intern at Yongjulee Architecture, Seoul: Enhanced social connections during the pandemic with innovative facade designs.
  • Inspection Assistant at SQ Engineering, Seoul: Analyzed structural integrity using drone inspection for the Seoul Metro Tunnel.

🌿 My Vision: I am dedicated to integrating sustainable practices with cutting-edge technology to shape the future of architecture. My work is driven by a commitment to creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally responsible and socially impactful.
