I am a recent graduate with formal education in environmental studies, public policy, and architecture. A background in custom construction drives my desire to create spaces that balance pragmatic concerns of budget and buildability with the sense of wonder and comfort created by truly great architecture. I believe that architecture should represent the combination of applied research, artistic expression, and craft.
Currently I am somewhat obsessed with the application of parametric strategies to explore pre-design and schematic design concerns. This idea was the basis for my Masters thesis project and is currently in development under the title GreyBox. More information about this project can be found on my blog.
I love to build, philosophize, express, and create. If you have a project, a job, a community opportunity, or an idea get in contact with me to talk about it.
