Phoebe Ou-Yang is an architectural designer located in Los Angeles, California. She was born in Taipei, Taiwan but was raised in Pasadena, California where she studied environmental design at ArtCenter College of Design and then later pursued an Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture at The Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles which was completed in 2020.
Throughout her education, Phoebe had an enthusiasm for the practice of architecture and architectural fabrication which was further refined when assisting in the completion of the Quicksilver Installation by Oyler Wu Collaborative. She is keen on pursuing experimental architecture as shown in her Thesis Project titled “Stadium +” where she and her partner (Abel Maqueira) challenged the confines of modern stadium programs.

Execute conceptual and schematic design for a luxury two-story residential home. As Project Manager, I managed to work alongside with consultants such as Structural, Civil, and Energy experts to produce drawing sets, animation, graphic and spatial design for permitting and bidding.
Prompted design expertise for the highly successful Chet Holifield Federal Building Charrette designed by William Perreira in collaboration with U.S. General Services Administration to assess stakeholder concerns and ideas for the property. Lead interactive exercises including live sketches to synthesize into data that was then collected to determine the financial potential for the historic property.
Led a collaboration with the federal state department to reconstruct a 17-story historic office building in Los Angeles, and maintain relationships with agents, historic architects, veterans, and security department personnel to address their daily needs.
