Malvern, PA
Ensconced beneath a wooded canopy among the rolling hills of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, this new residence sits firmly rooted in the present vernacular, while still pulling subtle inspiration from the past. An abundance of glass, a veneration for the surrounding landscape, and an affinity for open, airy spaces characterize this transitional home and lend to its unique allure. While contemporary architecture was the driving force behind this design, its proximity to the storied Brandywine River and other noted landmarks of classic Americana has indelibly left its mark aesthetically and referentially on this project.
