I currently work on a range of project with varying responsibilities in the office. I have worked on several 1 million+ sq ft spec warehouses, as well as small and medium sized tenant improvement projects. My typical responsibilities include field measurement and verification, general drafting and CADD work, preliminary design work, and coordination with subcontractors.

As one of several interns with Ruscilli for the summer, I worked on two projects doing various tasks, like handling RFI's, dealing with submittal and close-out items, communicating between the architect and sub-contractors, and attending and participating in various meetings for the projects. I worked mainly at the OSU Student Athlete Development Center (Schumaker), but did work for a project in its beginning stages, also for OSU. I assisted with meeting early occupancy deadlines for the Schumaker project, as well as keeping track of the project schedule relating to different tasks from sub-contractors.

Working for Facilities Information and Technology Services, I updated Revit models and AutoCAD drawings of buildings on Ohio State's Main, Medical, and Satellite campuses. Working full time in the summer, and part time during the school year, I completed over 100 different projects, ranging from small office updates to large retail and medical spaces. I was tasked with renovations and changes that had occurred, would investigate the changes through our construction drawing archive, field verify the existing condition, and then update a Revit model or AutoCAD drawing to reflect the changes. I often coordinated with contractors, architects, and on-site contacts for information and drawings.

I started my college career hoping to get a degree in engineering, but changed to architecture during my first year. Will complete my BSArch in May 2020 after finishing up a part time 5th year.
