My name is Nirmalrajan Thiyagarajan, and I am in the final semester of my Master of Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’m graduating in May 2023. I finished my Bachelor of Architecture in India. On top of my education, I worked as an intern for 6 months and as an architect and interior designer for 1 year in India. Additionally, I worked on three freelance projects. Currently working as a BIM Specialist in the NJIT Student Program, and continuing as an interior designer and architect for Wintrac LLC.

Worked on the Digital documentation of the NBOA Schools of Newark, and Revit Modeling of
the Existing schools with relation to Point Cloud of Matterport. Worked with Architects and
officials to accommodate site visits and other arrangements for the documentation.

Designed and generated construction drawings, Estimations, and illustrations, ensuring that the
client’s needs and goals were fully met.
Prepared and maintained various architectural documents, reviewed the factory on production
of millwork, and developed 3d models for the millwork.
Worked closely with contractors, customs clearance, and expeditors.

The competition is mainly for Mechanical Engineering Department, to design a car and production unit, and an estimation for the project. I designed the factory layout and production estimation for the project
HOSMAC Design Competition, 1st Place
Designed and participated in the proposal of the sports rehabilitation center and presented the design at the conference. The design was awarded at the national level with a cash prize of 60k rupees.
