This project was inspired by the sites urban structure and rich history. The building itself stems from the natural land-forms that transform the city of Da Nang; land, sea, and river. It is a transfusion of local identity, art, and culture. We envision this project as a cultural center of the future for Da Nang, exploring the new and old culture and talent. The precast panels, glass, and use of semi translucent concrete panels play with the exterior environment, connecting the users to the growing city, peninsula, dragon bridge and sea. It houses a tremendous concert hall, performing arts school, gallery/exhibition spaces, vendor spaces and public space.
