Designed by NEMARC, a Brooklyn based Architecture And Design Studio. The project is located in the Red Hook neighborhood. Commissioned by a company dealing with modern lightings and energy saving electrical technologies, the former car shop was transformed into the highly functional office space with a mezzanine level. The Garage architecture scenography is symbolic of the starting point of the most successful business in the tech world. The use of local resources, manufacturers, handymen, recycled and reclaimed materials in addition to the painted original brick, exposed metal ceiling beams, and industrial vibe fused with high-end coziness bring vibrancy to the neighborhood.
