My M.Arch. Thesis from the University of Southern California, which began with the question: Can architecture serve as a nurturing force to promote healing?
My research delves into how architectural design can support the mental and physical well-being of individuals in high-pressure professions, like firefighters. Through site interviews and academic research on therapeutic effects via spatial elements, I recognized the mental and physical challenges of the field. Therefore, I proposed a community hub to support not only firefighters but also others experiencing similar mental stress.
