The Academy of Art University provided a well rounded education with emphasis on the creative design process and sustainability where adaptive re-use was highly encouraged for an urban context. My Thesis embodied these ideas as well as attempted to bridge architectural and natural design to create a responsive research and education center focused on better understanding our roles and responsibilities to preserving our environment.

Cal Poly provided a hands on education to understanding both local and global agricultural and the importance it plays on our daily lives. Marketing, Retail Perception and Distribution were the tentpoles of my education. My minor in viticulture provided good insight into the ever growing wine industry especially as it pertains to the challenges and opportunities facing the small to midsize businesses.
