Gabr has finished his BSc in Architectural Engineering and Environmental design from The Arab Academy For science and Technology and Maritime transport Cairo Branch, Gabr quickly joined the Arab Academy For science and Technology and Maritime transport Alexandria Branch for getting his Master’s degree in Strategic environmental assessment.
Although Gabr has this passion in Educating himself, he also have the passion to spread the information that he gained to everyone, this drove him to organize and participating in a lot of workshops in Egypt, Germany, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, as some examples of his workshops, TU Darmstadt , Active buildings active cities summer school , 2013, ICE Bauhaus – Africa reload 2013, HSA – University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, BIM tools for sustainable development for Africa, TUM – Technical university of Munich and JKUAT – Jomo Kenyatta University for Agriculture and technology and the Edulink European commissioner for East Africa.
Gabr has won a lot of grands the most remarkable of which is JENGA – Joint development of courses for ENerGyefficient and sustainable housing in Africa from Edulink program of the EU, he is the BIM and sustainable simulations expert for the grant, for development of the Architecture teaching in three African Universities in (Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya) with cooperation HSA in Augsburg Germany, Stellenbosch South Africa and UN habitat in East Africa, he
has cooperated in the preparation process along with the implementation process.
Nonetheless, Gabr is an expert in a lot of Software including but not limited to All Autodesk products for Building suite, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, ESRI GIS suite, Adobe design Suite, and many other programs, he considered his knowledge as public ownership that he loves to share with people.
