Michelle Hook is a 2020 Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Washington with Advanced Studies in History, Theory and Criticism. Her thesis, which focused on speculative fiction as a queer tactic for designing architecture was recently showcased as part of Archinect's 2020 Thesis Features.

Created a visual guidebook for Mount Si High School alongside the marketing team for use of teachers, staff, and other occupants of the newly opened building. This included spatial diagrams, way-finding maps, and other useful graphics.

Through the responsibility of overseeing the design of the sophomore wing of the high school while coordinating with mechanical, structural and electrical engineers and producing high quality graphics of the project, I found a new passion within social architecture that directly benefited the lives of students and faculty.

This full-day program combined keynote presentations, case studies, research and provocative dialogue.
