The multiuse project was designed to provide a Landmark for Fort Lauderdale. In creating a bridge across Las Olas Blvd, the extension of Fort Lauderdale’s urban fabric expands upwards enabling further densification of the city. The horizontal retail space intersecting the vertical tower allows for an intersecting space establishing an interactive node between public and private.
The exoskeletal structure allows for a double skin which collects rain water from the building skin, funneling it into a water collector below grade.
