Brooklyn, NY, US
Located on the southern tip of a peninsula just east of Greenwich Harbor, this 17,000-square-foot apartment house offers eight condominium residences ranging from 800-square-foot one-bedroom units to 2,500-square-foot three-bedroom apartments, all with porches sized for dining and entertaining and private underground parking. Sited to favor views to the harbor to the west and Smith Cove to the east, the building is conceived as a large house or inn in the New England Shingle-style tradition, expressed in fieldstone and cedar shakes. Landscaped terraces descend to a waterside promenade.
