Mateo Deza is an architectural designer who just finished his graduate studies as a M.Arch I Student at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles.
After obtaining his BA(Hons.) at the University of Liverpool, he worked as an ARB/RIBA Part 1 Architectural Assistant at PRP Architects in Manchester, UK, and attended the Architectural Association in London for a year. He worked for prestigious architecture firms including AS.Architecture-Studio in Paris and Barclay & Crouse in Lima.
He views his experience at SCI-Arc as an opportunity to develop his professional career, as well as a challenge to get out of the confort zone while engaging with the architectural discourse in a different context.
