In late 2020 I was contacted by a City Mayor
candidate for coming elections in the city of Pula,
Croatia. The candidate was looking for someone
who would do a series of video renderings to be
featured during the political campaign, and I was
recommended to her by another Architect I worked
for before.
It was my task to think of multiple engaging urban
redesigns and make feature videos showing what
would presumably be done following their win at the
elections.
I focused on quick schematic master plans and
introduction of rail public transit utilizing existing
infrastructure, pedestrianization of the city center,
repurposing empty city owned buildings,
increasing greenery, as well as generic promises of
new kindergartens, schools and nursing homes.
I organized meetings with clients and delivered
satisfactory results ahead of schedule. I consider
this my first independent project.
Resulting videos were uploaded to YouTube and are
available to everyone. I attempted to show frames in
the next couple of slides and I have included a web
link for actual video renders.
