For the past 8 years, I have worked at an Orlando Florida based architecture firm.  Due to the struggling economy, they are forced to let go of several of their talented employees such as me.  My last project with them was the Weed Army Medical Center (replacement hospital) located at Fort Irwin, California.  Fort Irwin is located in the Mohave Desert which makes it ideal to take advantage of the sun.  The building was designed to have a net zero energy usage by using solar hot water, and a large photovoltaic farm for the production of electricity.  By incorporating many other green components, I am confident that this will be the first LEED Platinum hospital in North America.  I was also responsible for documenting some of the design credits for this project.  Another project of interest included documenting LEED credits for their first LEED certified building, a submarine base in La Maddalena, Italy.  My main work for the last few years is hospital design; however i also had the opportunity to design a variety of projects including dental clinics, schools, warehouses, central energy plants, and also a bowling alley.

I have been using Revit (BIM) for the last 3 years and prior to that have been using AutoCAD for over 10 years.  This knowledge will make me immediately able to help out any project team.  Furthermore, I hold an architecture license in the state of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois.
