The design of these public baths starts with an interlocking wooden cube hand-built using Japanese joinery, balsa wood. The video shows how each piece is crafted to fit into the next while creating a locking mechanism.
The pieces are then extruded and elongated to form voids that serve as pools of water and private spaces for bathing.
