‘Turfgrass’ is a gigantism of the structure of a grass plant and the playful worker’s game of assemblage and position.  Karen Lemmert‘s sculptural works involve mechanical orchestration and assemblage.
Her work is influenced by geometric patterning and sequencing and strives to create phenomenological effect through tectonic construction.  Her tinkerer mentality has been exhibited in Detroit and Baltimore.
