“All great changes are preceded by Chaos.”
This famous quote by Deepak Chopra sums up a lot about me. Those who know me, know that I can be a bit scatter brained but somehow everything turns out just peachy in the end. Ever since I was younger my mind and learning process was chaotic, but as I grew, I learned how to use this challenge to my advantage. By working my hardest through grade school to learn something most would find easy, allowed me to except that sometimes things might go wrong but to never give up and make it better time and time again. Today I still have a burning passion to work my hardest in completing everything in my life at the best of my ability.
I enjoy design because it is a constant cycle that always needs changes in order to create the best design possible. I find enjoyment in concept development, schematic design, space planning, construction, and yes the many challenges that come with it all. One of my favourite phases of design is found in the technical side of things. Where most people would find sitting behind a computer screen working in CAD tedious, I enjoy watching something I created come to life on screen and off, making sure that every little detail is there and right. I also love helping others and working with teams that allow other ideas and opinions that I may not have considered during the design process.
With all of the challenges that come with any field of design, I feel that my chaotic mind has finally found a place that it can function the best and create, “great changes”.

Intent for group project was to design an Atlanta based design for MG&BW furniture store that
highlighted their furniture.
Our design project was base on Driving Miss Daisy, representing MG&BW furniture as each character in the story; Miss Daisy, Hoke, and the third untold character, the car.
Design process through hand rendering, Sketchup, and presentation.
