Since its inception, the space of the offices, like the architecture that surrounds them, has been in constant change, in the 21st century this change has occurred through the Startups and the coworking and now the architecture must respond to the new demands of these typologies.
The new growth of Chamartín leads us to consider the possibility of carrying out a project that combines the two main uses, offices and housing, a union that benefits the city. For this reason, STARTMAD has the characteristics of a neighborhood in height making it a hybrid building, with a leisure program, work areas for Startups and other companies that want to apply the dynamics of coworking and housing.
The volumetry of the building expresses the different uses in height forming a broken profile, an adequate profile for a multiscalar solution.
The social connectors of the building arise thanks to that dynamic form of growth, creating a community in the vertical dimension, through the green spaces at different heights and thanks to the interior space of the central atrium.
