Project Name: Trophy Design for Excellence
Project Type : Trophy Design
Designer : MSH Atelier
Visualization : Imran Bin Abdul Khalique
MSH Atelier, Bangladesh based architectural firm has recently designed a trophy. This design is inspired from traditional space.
In Delta, forms have been evolving for thousands of years by nature and human wisdom. Wind, light, shadow such elements are redefining their means with new knowledge. Crafting these natural forms also define our architectural excellence. In bangla roof, boat, pottery etc, we can observe the curvilinear approaches influence the design of this trophy.
The design expresses the excellence of our craftsmanship as well as represents our vernacular forms. Bronze is used for making various tools which have been used for years which become the primary material of this trophy. This can also be made with mud or ceramic clay or any other metal sheet too. This trophy may also help the bronze craftsmen to revive their skill again which can open a new opportunity for the upcoming generations of craftsmen. A finished wooden base also supports this unique form which will contain the name of winner/ winners. The proportion of this trophy is derived from the traditional measurement system. By holding a timeless space in itself, architects will be encouraged to innovate and develop their knowledge. This timelessness not only enlightens their professional journey but also encourages others to make a mark in contemporary architecture.
