About

As a civil engineering graduate with experience in design management, I have a passion for creating accessible and sustainable spaces that enhance the life of the people and environment around them. I graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, where I received multiple honors for my academic and artistic achievements.

Most recently, I worked as a Plan Review Manager at United Spinal Association, where I oversaw the completion and sending of 50 to 60 plan and submittal reviews monthly. I prepared technical documents to confirm accessibility compliance with relevant regulations and codes, implemented an interactive review format using Bluebeam Revu, and built strong client relationships through effective communication and coordination. Previously, I was an Assistant Vertical Design Manager at The NRP Group, where I managed the design and project development of dozens of multifamily projects in the Northeast and Texas, issuing RFPs, reviewing proposals, performing value engineering, and managing budgets and schedules. I have extensive experience in the technical and organizational aspects of the preconstruction process, as well as in building accessibility and green energy.

Employment

United Spinal Association Accessibility Services, New York, NY, US, Plan Review Manager

As the Plan Review Manager at Accessibility Services, I oversaw the completion and sending of fifty to sixty plan and submittal reviews monthly. My responsibilities included preparing technical documents to confirm accessibility compliance with relevant regulations and codes such as local and state building codes, ANSI A117.1, FHA, and UFAS. I implemented an interactive review format and integrated Bluebeam Revu into our company's operating procedures to improve efficiency and collaboration. Building strong client relationships was a key aspect of my role, involving managing communication, scheduling, and participation in coordination and review meetings. Additionally, I conducted site visits across New York City to ensure projects met accessibility compliance standards.

The NRP Group LLC, New York, NY, US, Assistant Vertical Design Manager

As an Assistant Vertical Design Manager at The NRP Group in New York, I gained extensive experience managing projects successfully. Since working part-time during college and full-time after, I was an integral part of the development of dozens of multifamily projects in the Northeast and Texas, issuing RFPs to a team of consultants in areas such as architecture, landscape engineering, interior design, green energy, accessibility, and reviewing proposals to ensure accuracy. Additionally, I reviewed soft-cost construction budgets, performed value engineering, and managed development and construction schedules for up to three years in advance. I corrected proformas against current plans and created presentations for investors to convey project design intent. A project in which I had a pivotal role was in design coordination for Parmer Crossing, a three-phase, 900+ unit apartment complex in Austin. While this project was in Texas and was primarily market-rate, I also have experience working with affordable and market-rate guidelines in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and more states across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. From the very early stages of project origination to the closing stages of CA, I aided in all parts of development.
