GRIDDING DISORDER- Stock Exchange & Museum Design

With the emergence of the new stock trading mode, the New York Stock Exchange will be expanded to combined with contemporary technological more closely, which should also be displayed to the public since stock influence daily life of each human being. 

This project is located directly above the original New York Stock Exchange. In order not to affect the daily use of the surrounding high-rise buildings, there are many restrictions on the length, width and height of the site.

Exhibition and minning space are wrapped by grids, their intersection enrich the space interfaces of both sides greatly. Meanwhile, the accessibility of minning space and the visual permeability of its skin grid also diversify the indoor space. Visitors can enter each spatial volume through the ramp between the double layers facade and platforms between interspersed volumes.

The chunk model selects the most abundant part of the internal space to display, which makes the multi-level space forming method  more impressive.
Also, through this model, the continuous strategy of using transparent grid skin to enclose spatial volumes is another form language.
