As has been written ad nauseam, California is in a drought. Though very recent trends have begun to sway the water tables back, drought design is the way of the future. This project was a highly conceptual undertaking of student housing in Los Angeles. Using sinuous curves to maximize surface area and an environmentally reactive facade to gather water, the project tackles drought architecture from a fresh perspective.
