About 

I am an Project Architect in New York City, working on a variety of projects throughout the US and abroad. I specialize in science, health, and educational projects, and I also have experience in high-end residential, civic and cultural projects. I am passionate about adaptive reuse, historic preservation and architectural history. 

In my spare time, I am restoring a Dutch colonial revival home built in 1915, and I am also a board member of Architexx  which is a 501c3 non-profit organization for gender equity in architecture transforming the profession by bridging the academy and practice.

• Lead projects through complex approval processes including SHPO, Planning Board Approvals, and redevelopment applications.
• Successfully delivered a range of projects from adaptive re-use through ground up construction.
• Lead teams in development of construction documents on large K-12 schools, ranging up to 300,000 GSF.
• Worked directly with client and user groups to outline and determine project goals and aspirations in order to deliver projects that went above and beyond expectations.

• Developed design strategies from a schematic level through construction, including product and material research, technical detailing, consultant coordination, and in depth client work-sessions to ensure project success.
• Lead projects through complex approval processes including SHPO and the Board of Standards and Appeals in NY, requiring advanced understanding of approval requirements, creation of curated presentations and coordination of detail documents required.
• Researched and resolved complex construction details, and resolved issues during the construction phase, both on site and in office.
• Project Management experience, including scheduling, budgeting and contract writing.
• 3D visualization; including modeling, rendering and Photoshop work for a
variety of projects, used both as design tools and for client presentation.
• BIM management, including coordination of instructional work sessions for the team and in depth graphics control in order to support the utilization of the BIM model as both a design and documentation tool.
