Given the challenge of creating a puzzle piece that fits and works together in identical multiplies, I came up with the b-side wine and play rack. Creating a network of positive and negative parts in a predominantly circular piece allowed me to connect the pieces in a variety of ways giving rise to both a utilitarian function and playful interaction. The b-side wine and play rack was created for those who love to entertain while also keeping in-tune with the sophisticated beverages of the times. Wine consumption and production has been on the rise since 2007 and has clearly become a modern staple in social gatherings. The b-side wine and play rack gives you a conversational starter and a place to store your most prized wines in the middle of the action, while challenging your friends to a series of balanced piece combinations and shapes.
