  • Revit 2019 drafter working on multiple projects over the summer. We focused on large scale commercial design to small scale projects single-family occupancies.

  • Worked one on one with a licensed architect learning the intricacies of Revit and architectural drawing.

  • Worked on Reflected Ceiling Plans, Site Plans, Floor Plans, Lighting Plans, Elevations, Sections, Door and Window Schedules, calculated occupancy loads, and Emergency Evacuation Plans.

  • I helped with the design process and brainstormed design concepts.

HY-C Inc. (SolidWorks Drafter) January 2014 - December 2014

  • 2,000 hours of sheet metal and manufacturing experience using SolidWorks 2012

  • Multiple projects based on customer specifications and requirements containing Bill of Materials, fabrication drawings, blueprints, reverse engineering, weld symbols, etc. saved as DXF's, STL's, DWG's, and PDF's

  • Double checked own work to ensure accuracy and eliminate mistakes

  • Know how to calculate K-factor, bend deduction, bend allowance, and thickness

  • Design Engineer gave me many full hand drawn sketches and I drafted the parts and assemblies to make wood-burning furnaces and chimney covers.

  • I created the drawings very quickly and with precision and accuracy

Freelance (Solidworks 2016, AutoCAD 2016, Revit 2016 and Rhino 5 Drafter) January 2015 - Current

  • Multitude of projects ranging from Elevations, Architectural blueprints, fabrication drawings, DXF's for manufacturing, etc.  (every project contained Bill of Materials and was drawn to industry standards)

  • 10-15 projects a year (total of about 25) ranging from 50-100 hours a month while in school full-time. The extreme amount of focus on architectural studies requires me to manage and use my time wisely. I am very organized and give high importance to deadlines and schedules.

Alpha Structural In. (AutoCAD 2016 Drafter) August 2016-October 2016

  • Multiple simultaneous engineering projects requiring Elevations, Architectural blueprints, Bill of Materials, etc. (every project require assimilating information from LADBS and a few other sites with interactive GIS maps)

  • For over 25 years now, Alpha Structural, Inc. has developed a powerful reputation as the #1 Foundation Engineering and Repair, Landslide Repair, Earthquake and Structural Rehabilitation Contractor in the Los Angeles area.

  • Worked on approximately 15 projects a week. Ranging from relatively easy projects that only took an hour or two up to month long projects.

  • Visited multiple cities in LA area in order to obtain measurements from buildings and to complete paperwork required by cities.

  • Major focus of the Alpha Structural family was to repair buildings in the Eagle Rock area after extensive damage from earthquakes and landslides.

  • Worked on multiple framing projects from Type V Construction from small single-family houses to large apartment complexes.

  • Focused on how Type V buildings are assembled which carried over to future detailing
