My inspiration for pursuing architecture as a career came from experiencing firsthand its ability to elicit the full range of human emotion for the purpose it serves. The excitement and celebration generated by sporting and event venues, the history and knowledge conveyed by cultural and educational institutions, and the joy and leisure of resilient landscapes - to design these types of spaces would be an intellectual and creative challenge worth meeting.
