The project promotes a connection between the Paraibuna River and Terreirao so Samba, which would become an urban park.

Also, the project suggests the recovery of the river's riparian forest and its water quality.
The park at Terreirao do Samba would promote local commerce and living space.
Currently, Terreirao do Samba is only used for a parking lot and Paraibuna River is significantly polluted.
