Before founding KDA, Tom Klaber was a senior project architect at The Turett Collaborative, and manager of information systems at Gabellini Sheppard.

He was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal for architectural leadership and professional excellence in 2010. He was named to the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Think Tank in 2013. He is a licensed architect, and became a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction in 2011.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College, and his Master of Architecture degree from Parsons School of Design, where he graduated with Honors.
