Julianna is a designer at Snøhetta in New York City where she has worked on notable cultural projects including the Teddy Roosevelt Presidential Library. She is also a graduate of the Master of Architecture program from the University of Pennsylvania where she was the recipient of the Faculty Prize.
Her thesis, Spectral Minutiae produced under the advice of Ferda Kolatan, focused on society’s outmoded relationship with nature and interrogated New York City’s Central Park through the implementation of a series of post-humanist follies. The thesis aimed to push the boundaries of speculative futures through surrealist imagery while critically examining current ecological issues surrounding urban communities.
