The Performance Center is a building that encompasses brand values and combines multiple uses into a unified whole. 

The building functional as a factory delivery center, a driver training facility, a conference center, a automobile technologist training facility, and service center for the Greer SC production facilities fleet.  The center was awarded the 2000 American Architecture award by the Chicago Athenaeum As well as AIA regional awards for its unique design. 

The Facility was and still is used as an example of the BMW's corporate identity in built form.  The facility is often used as a backdrop for new product press releases.
