The project is based on Hart Island, which will serve as a center

for biotechnology experiments in 2050. These laboratories and

other infrastructure will serve as a hatchery for biotechnology

development around the world,bringing more jobs to the

unemployed and tackling the epidemic in the future. In the

context of COVID, the Lab Island can provide New York with

back-up research support in the face of the vagaries of future

international conditions.
