About

After graduating from the Academy of Art University in 2002, I have over ten years of varied experience in both Architecture and Interior Design office settings. My current position as West Coast Project Manager with Blu Homes, a leading force in the newly developing high end prefabricated home business, has provided me with extensive exposure managing large teams, coordinating multiple parties, construction management, scheduling, budgeting, estimating, overseeing design production and site work efforts, dealing directly with clients, and leading internal and external teams through multiple projects of all project stages.

My previous positions at BAMO and Hirsch Bedner Associates led me into the hospitality market, working on all aspects of many large scale, high profile hotel, restaurant, and spa projects. I have taken on a leading role in both the FF&E and interior architectural sides of all project stages, from conceptual design through construction administration. I then worked with Barabara Scavullo Design on several high end residential projects, working on interior architecture, conceptual designs, custom furniture design, lighting, furniture and finish selection, project management, and construction administration.

I have the technical and design skills to successfully produce conceptual design, design development, and construction document level drawing sets, FF&E and interior finish specifications and schedules, presentation boards, custom furniture drawings, and processing of all construction administration and design control phase related documents.

I have the focus, persistence, and technical skills to follow through on any task that is given to me. I am organized, motivated, and eager to learn. I have excellent communications skills, the desire to lead and collaborate, extensive experience working directly with clients, supervising junior design staff, and dealing with project management related tasks.

I am also very proud to be founder / head organizer of an organization called “Drinks by Design”, a monthly happy hour event designed to bring together the best and brightest of the Bay Area Design, Architectural, and Engineering communities for networking, forging new relationships, and fostering social connections among our professional communities.
