Hello! I’m a Brooklyn-based, WELL accredited designer actively pursuing licensure in New York State. Since receiving my Master of Architecture from Tulane University, I’ve split my time between New York and New Orleans working for award-winning firms in both cities. My current interests place a great emphasis on the exploration of local vernaculars, sustainable materials, and circular economies across the globe.
Sharon Davis Design, New York Mills, NY, US, Designer
Interfaced closely with a tight-knit design team on large-scale office buildings as well as public-oriented, community-facing pro-bono projects that prioritize the implementation of sustainable design and construction practices. Singlehandedly developed a Sustainability Action Plan as part of signing the firm up for the AIA 2030 challenge, and played a key role in the establishment of the SDDLab Initiative, openly publishing studies on alternative materials the firm had worked with on prior projects.
1100 Architect, New York, NY, US, Junior Architect
Provided valuable insight about health & wellness for high-end, single-family residential homes, while also master-planning complex office campuses internationally. Additionally, contributed to firm-wide sustainability initiatives branching across all phases of design.
NANO, LLC, New Orleans, LA, US, Designer II
Greatly contributed to the design team ultimately awarded the renovation of New Orleans’ Ernest Morial Convention Center, a contract in excess of $500 million. Completely reinvigorated the firms sustainable design initiative by overseeing the implementation of Rhino and grasshopper into the workflow, and spearheaded the design and assembly of our exhibition for the 2021 Venice Biennale.
Digital Output Lab | Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, US, Manager
Oversaw and supervised a group of 10-12 employees and worked closely with university faculty members to manage inventory, scheduling, and budgeting for Tulane’s Digital Output lab in addition to operating and troubleshooting the school’s large-format printers, 3d printers, and laser cutters.
ArchiLOGIX, Santa Rosa, CA, US, Intern Architect
Collaborated directly with firm principals as well as project managers on all aspects of the design process with an emphasis on BIM, CAD drafting, and master planning. Worked on projects ranging in scale and program from an artisan craft space for a beekeeper, to a 60-million-barrel brewery, to vision planning for small towns in Northern California.
