National City is the poorest area but it has a opportunity of being much more than it is. When coming about the design, I wanted to break the block up into simple parcels. Ground level will be energized with amenities like a playground, large grass areas, sitting that is ethernet accessible and lined around with shops and restaurants. Bringing safety by allowing all the congestion to be in this plaza area between the buildings.
