I am a creative person who has always been fascinated by art and design in any of its expressions, fashion, furniture, interior, product, architecture, painting…
I am recently graduated in architecture at the University of Navarra, Spain (2009-2015) and in a specialty in constructive technologies with a 9/10 in both final projects.
I am a dynamic person, who always is looking for new challenges and experiences, hoping to learn and enrich myself. For this reason, I was able to work, travel or volunteer during my six-year academic course, thereby completing my professional growth.
During the last two years of my studies I worked in the Construction Department at the University as a student assistant, which was an extremely enriching experience that allowed me to participate and learn about the expert visits, be involved in some research works or give practical lessons.
Last November, I started working in a Spanish studio, Otxotorena arquitectos S.L, taking part in restoration projects, interior design works, carpenter drawings design, or international competitions. At this firm I have developed abilities such as perseverance and attention to details, the importance of communication and teamwork, and excellence in every task assigned. I am still learning a lot, taking also some courses about Revit and english in my free time. Besides you can check all my training and experience path at my CV.
Another thing that is important for me as a new part of my professional training experience is that this summer I was one of the 32 selected persons all over the world to participate in a summer design course in the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano and also rewarded with a scholarship. This was an award of a design competition where I took part last 20-21 of May, the title of the JAM was: “When production goes within the city” and the challenge was to explore and analyze complex problems in order to discover and prototype innovative ideas.
At the moment I am looking for some international opportunity that allows me to prove myself in a completely different circumstance. I want to improve my language skills, learn about other places, cultures and people, discover and share new ways of understanding architecture, I want ultimately to expand my human and professional knowledge.
Considering my academic and professional knowledge, my experience abroad and hard worker skills, I strongly believe that I have the capacity and enthusiasm to start working at your studio.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am available for interview at any time.
I look forward to hearing from you, thank you in advance for your time,
Best regards,
Inés Bernar
