These townhomes were the first built under Boston’s E+ initiative to pilot net zero energy housing prototypes. In collaboration with local developer Urbanica, ISA was one of three winning competition teams to partner with the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Four 3-bedroom attached houses with generous rear yards, third level terraces, and significant photovoltaic solar arrays earned HERS ratings between -11 and -15 (net zero energy).
