Momentum Adaptive Ski School and Lodge: Senior Thesis

The goal for the Adaptive Ski and Snowboard School is to provide lessons for all levels of boarders to
learn and interact as one, and most importantly to have fun.

CLIENT GOALS:
To create experiences that will result in increased self-confidence and greater success in academic, professional and personal life challenges. To allow anyone access to all facilities located on the mountain.

OPERATIONAL GOALS:
The goal for the Adaptive Ski and Snowboard School is to provide lessons for all levels of boarders to learn and interact as one, and most importantly to have fun. Each lesson will vary based on the individual themselves, and will be provided with one on one instruction. In addition to the Adaptive Ski School, a new bridge will be designed and built to connect the Gondola Station to the Lodge. This will allow all users with physical and cognitive disabilities to access the Mid-Mountain School.

ARCHITECTURAL & SPACIAL GOALS:
To create a space the brings energy, fun, and great memories that will last a lifetime. To design a space with a clear path of travel, starting from the Gondola station, to the beginning of each Ski Lesson.

PROJECT GOALS:
To make everyone be aware that anything is possible when you set your mind to it. To let all ski school students to know that it is possible to always do it yourself, and it must mean something and it must mean something fighting for.
