I am a third year undergraduate with a passion for architecture and design. I have a particular interest in looking at the relationship between water and architecture and how it can improve our everyday lives by bringing it into our building designs. I am a passionate and hardworking individual who aspires to create a better future through architecture.
Paul Bull Mosaics and Tiling, Bristol, GB, Assistant
I was fortunate to be able to work alongside a mosaic fitter and creator. Through this I was able to travel around the UK to various mosaic pieces and work on them either fixing or fitting. In this I was able to demonstrate my steady hand and patience to work with fragile, pricless pieces. Here I was also able to show my ability to work successfuly in team to meet deadlines and complete job to a high standard.
Moon Design and Build, Work Experience
Through my work experience week with Moon I was able to get some hands on experience working in an architect firm. Through this I was able to both experience the initial stages of briefing but also looking at a near completion project on site. This allowed me to show creativity and my ability to work as a team under deadlines. I was also able to demonstrate my ability to receive and follow client briefs by following a week long task given to me for a project as well as inputting in a real extension design.
AD Young, Temporary Work
Temporary work for AD Young (Printer Engineers) demonstrating competence in technology by working with a new computer database. Proving myself to be a reliable and trustworthy person working with confidential customer data. Through this I was able to see architectural plotting machines.
