I am a Licensed Architect from India, and have recently graduated from Master of Science in Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. I've been awarded The Architecture of the Post Anthropocene by Pratt Institute's School of Architecture Student Awards 2022. I was also selected to present at the Critic At Large reviewed by Debora Mesa Molina and David Erdman held at the Pratt SoA. I have about two years of professional experience working in Architecture, Interior Design and Curation.
I have found leadership to be an essential aspect of my development as an architect. I’ve led multiple organizations that honed my skills of public speaking, sourcing tasks, motivating team, diplomatic relationships with other leaders and most importantly organizing ideas. I served the South Asian Students' Association at Pratt Institute as a Secretary and the Student Council at APIED, Sardar Patel University as the Cultural Head. I've found these aspects to be groundbreaking working in any organization within academic as well as professional umbrella.
I've gained my Bachelor of Architecture degree from IED, Sardar Patel University, India. I've worked with Pratt alumnus Ar. Sandeep Khosla at Khosla Associates, Bangalore, where I worked on all stages of design development from conceptual design, design development, client presentations, material selections, working drawings, working details, tender drawings to 3D visualizations. Working closely with teams at KA, I was exposed to tropical modernism.
Professionally I've also worked with Modo Designs, Ahmedabad and had a brief working experience with Associated Architects (I) Pvt. Ltd. Most recently, I worked with Beatrice Galilee at The World Around Summit 2022, Guggenheim Museum, New York. TWA was my first experience at curation and exhibition design.
A few honors I take pride for are featuring on the cover of Prattfolio's Fall 2022 Issue for "An Evolving Carbon Economy", being interviewed by 25 Feet Off Higgins, a week long exhibit at the Pratt Earth Action Week 2022 for "Carbon Niwas" and the Annual Merit Scholarship for MS. Architecture at Pratt Institute.
I am a keen listener of Indian Classical Music and love shooting clips and bringing them together on the edit table fueled by my interest in film and media.
