About

Born in Tokyo and raised in numerous Pacific Islands until settling in Los Angeles at age 16 due to family relocations. Upon receiving a degree in Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, I relocated to New York. During my 9 years in New York, I worked for Asymptote Architecture, Leeser Architecture, Grimshaw Architects, and SHoP Architects, to name a few. In order to gain international experience, I relocated to Melbourne, Australia for 3 years. There, I worked for Elenberg Fraser and at Grimshaw Architects. I am now back in Los Angeles to be closer to family for the last 4 years and have worked for Marwan Al Sayed and for City Storage Systems, a real estate start up company. Having to work for a real estate company as a design manager has been quite a challenging and rewarding experience, gaining immense knowledge on the legal side of architecture and real estate development.
