In May of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Virginia Tech. I currently live in Columbus, OH and work full-time as a Project Coordinator for Legat Kingscott.
I have always had a desire to positively impact the lives of others. For me, architecture offers an incredible opportunity to gain a greater sensitivity to the needs of people, and through this sensitivity, ultimately promote the well-being of the individual. With further exposure to architecture as a professional practice, I hope to continue to challenge my understanding of design and its potential for dialogue with societal issues.

As a member of the newly formed Building Specifications Team, I conducted interviews (by phone and in person) with key architects and specifiers throughout Ohio in order to gain insights into the architectural community's expectations of building material suppliers. Pella Prize for Excellence in Architecture Undergraduate Thesis, Honorable Mention
Pella Prize is the highest individual honor for undergraduate architecture seniors at Virginia Tech. Each student within the fifth year class of the Architecture Program (approximately 100 students) is asked to nominate multiple peers who they feel have created a strong body of work throughout the thesis year. These selections are ranked, and the list of the top twenty thesis selections is released to the class. The top ten then participate in an additional pin-up to compete for the Pella Prize.
