The City of Boise has seen significant growth over several years. Job creation has brought an influx of workers in search of reasonable accommodations for themselves and their families. A public/private partnership with the Capitol City Development Corporation helped fund this multifamily workforce housing development located along the Pioneer pathway in downtown Boise. The design pays homage to the historic Hayman House located next door as well as the history and context of the neighborhood.

The building features a mix of townhome-style apartments and flats with retail on the ground floor. The northwest side of the complex abuts the Pioneer pathway—a pedestrian and cycle friendly path that connects the Greenbelt to Myrtle Street, such that units are surrounded by plenty of landscaped open space and pedestrian-supported amenities. The development provides both easy access to downtown Boise by foot, bike, scooter or car, as well as a restful, natural home in which to recharge, at a price point that makes it affordable for the average Boise resident.
