About

As a Conservation Architect at Satyajeet Chavan, I played a crucial role in the restoration and analysis of heritage structures. I worked closely with Ar. Satyajeet Chavan, documenting the structural condition of these historical buildings and preparing comprehensive reports. My keen eye for detail and deep understanding of architectural principles allowed me to reconfigure these structures in a way that restored their original value and cultural significance. I actively participated in the restoration of notable heritage sites such as Vithoba temple, Tilak Wada, E School, and Art Center, tulsi baug and vishram Baug vada, contributing to the preservation of their architectural heritage.

During my internship at Hiten Sethi and Associates, I gained valuable experience working across various teams, including interior design and architectural design. Under the guidance of experienced professionals such as Samiullah Bandri and Ar. Shilpa Jain, I was involved in diverse projects spanning the hospital, office, and residential sectors.

My responsibilities included collaborating on the design process, focusing on educational institutes and residential structures. This exposure allowed me to refine my design skills and understand the specific requirements of different project types.

As a Structural Analyst at Star Associates, I conducted thorough site visits to assess residential structures. Through detailed analysis, I evaluated the condition of these buildings and determined whether they required structural repairs or demolition. My expertise in performing tests on critical structural elements such as columns, beams, and slabs enabled me to make informed decisions regarding their structural integrity.

My work experiences showcase my ability to blend creativity with technical expertise in the field of architecture. From documenting heritage structures to contributing to the design of diverse projects and analyzing the structural aspects of buildings, I have demonstrated a comprehensive skill set that encompasses both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

My passion for architecture, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities have been instrumental in my professional achievements thus far. Combined with my strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and innovative thinking, I am well-equipped to contribute to the success of architectural projects and make a lasting impact in the field.

Architecture is on the cusp of a paradigm shift, accelerated in and by recent global patterns, in which the environments we occupy are increasingly virtual and mobile. Considered a dynamic ecosystem of technologies rather than a tectonic assemblage of materials, architecture is evolving toward a non-static and non-physical form of experience. As such, architecture is increasingly a transdisciplinary medium that merges the worlds of fabrication, gaming, and media design, among other technologies and innovations.

The IDEAS Technology Studio investigates the design of new media in digital and physical forms, and its potential to radically transform the human experience. Given the contemporary interest in the “metaverse,” the Technology Studio uses Extended Reality (XR), interactive robotic systems, and machine learning/AI to envision a “cyberphysical architecture” that exists at the intersection of digital and physical worlds. Architecture is situated and engaged as an incubator, and not strictly a recipient, of ongoing innovation and experimentation; the practice of design is reimagined as a platform to experience multitudes of contemporary realities.
