Graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Architectural Studies at UIUC with 9 months of being Building Project Manager at Illinois Solar Decathlon and 4 months of being Teacher Assistant, and will be graduating by the end of summer

EXPERIENCE                      

2021-2022           Project Manager – Solar Decathlon Competition

  • Administration of working on sustainable residential building for single-family considering their requirements
  • Making schedules, planning, and designating tasks for sub-teams for 5 competition deadlines
  • Coordinating weekly meetings with 45 members and making presentations
  • Linking 9 sub-teams with different tasks and focusing on different aspects of building
  • Monitoring sub-team's works and progress
  • Communication and holding meetings with firms and companies for partnership and sponsorship goals
  • Collaboration on developing the team’s goals for winning the competition according to challenge rules
  • Audited energy for around 1000 sq ft building in 1 month.
  • Collaborated with my teammate to find the best ways for reducing the energy consumption of the building
  • Calculated energy consumption on both gas and electricity of the building in last three years with and extracting relevant graphs and diagrams using Excel.
  • Integrated energy consumption with 11 saving approaches to calculate final energy demand in Excel.
  • Calculated, compared, and drew conclusions for the expenses before and after using saving approaches.

2019-2020           Building Energy Auditing

  • Audited energy for around 1000 sq ft building in 1 month.
  • Collaborated with my teammate to find the best ways for reducing the energy consumption of the building

2018-2019         Group leader – Architecture Design

  • Designed residential building in 409028 sq ft area with 5 types of building in AutoCAD.
  • Considered 8 private and more than 10 public spaces for residents in landscape design
  • Located 2 towers, 3 buildings with 6 floors and 8 units, and 2 buildings with 4 floors and 9 units.
  • Designed studios, and units with 1-3 bedrooms.
  • Coordinated social facilities for residents such as gym, pool, markets and kindergarten.
