I am a third year architecture student. I am hard working and very dedicated. Architecture has been a passion of mine since the age of five. I have always known that I would pursue a career in architecture.
The past two summers I have worked as an intern for a foster care agency. My responsibilities included gathering resources for client use, creating a database for client information, inputting and maintaining the information in the database, and facilitating group activities. Currently, I am a member of American Institute of Architecture Students and am the Supply Shop Manager. For my position, I manage an inventory of $1,000, delegate tasks, as well as, oversee and train twenty volunteers who work in the shop. As a brother of Alpha Rho Chi, I am the Head of the Chapter Advancement Committee. My committee organizes events which nurture professionalism and help improve the fraternity.
As part of my studies, I have become proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Rhinoceros, and AutoCAD. I also have basic knowledge of Revit and Adobe InDesign. Because of many collaborative projects in school, I have excellent communication skills and am a team player while also having the ability to work independently. I am a creative problem solver and competent in Spanish.
